A weekend designed for busy dads to step away from daily distractions and spend quality time with their children in the great outdoors. Set in a beautiful woodland setting, this experience is all about hands-on learning, adventure, and connection. From mastering essential bushcraft skills like fire-making and shelter building to engaging in high-energy activities like gel blaster battles, tomahawk throwing, and archery, every moment is designed to foster teamwork, confidence, and shared memories. Dads can also take part in a butchery masterclass, while kids dive into exciting bushcraft challenges, ensuring a balance of skill-building and fun for all.

Beyond the action, this camp offers space to slow down and appreciate the simple joys of nature. Whether fly fishing at sunrise, sharing stories by the campfire, or sleeping under the stars in cozy bell tents, the experience is as much about bonding as it is about adventure. With hearty communal meals prepared by an on-site chef and plenty of opportunities to connect with other like-minded families, this is more than just a weekend away—it’s a chance to create lasting memories and strengthen the bond between father and child in an unforgettable way.

  • Arrive at the woodland camp and enjoy a warm welcome with a refreshing drink.

  • Quick briefing on the weekend’s activities, safety, and camp setup.

12:00 PM – Fire & Bushcraft Skills

  • Learn traditional fire-lighting techniques using bow drill and flint & steel.

  • Hands-on shelter-building challenge.

1:30 PM – Hearty Communal Lunch (prepared by the on-site chef)

  • A nourishing meal to fuel the afternoon’s activities.

3:00 PM – Activity Choice:

  • Gel Blaster Battle – Fast-paced, high-energy fun in a woodland setting.

  • Tomahawk Throwing – Learn accuracy and technique with axe throwing.

  • Shelter Building Challenge – Work together to construct a survival shelter.

5:30 PM – Deer Butchery Masterclass for Dads

  • Learn hands-on deer butchery, from preparation to understanding different cuts of meat.

  • Kids’ Wild Workshop – While dads take part in the butchery session, kids explore bushcraft activities like tracking and natural cordage making.

7:00 PM – Pitt Oven & Communal Feast (prepared by the on-site chef with participation from the group)

  • Experience the ancient method of Pitt oven cooking, slow-cooking meats underground for a delicious feast.

  • A hearty meal enjoyed together under the stars.

8:30 PM – Fireside Stories & Campfire Skills

  • Toast marshmallows and share stories.

  • Learn night navigation and how to read the stars.

10:00 PM – Bedtime in Bell Tents

  • Settle into cozy ready-made bell tents for a comfortable night under the trees.

Day 2: Outdoor Skills & Adventure

7:30 AM – Sunrise Fly Fishing & Coffee for Dads

  • A peaceful morning session on the water, learning fly fishing techniques.

  • Kids can enjoy early morning nature games with the camp team.

8:30 AM – Hearty Breakfast (prepared by the on-site chef)

  • A warm, energizing meal to start the day.

10:00 AM – Activity Choice:

  • Archery & Bow Making – Learn the basics of archery and even craft a simple bow.

  • Advanced Bushcraft Skills – Knife safety, carving, natural traps, or tracking techniques.

12:00 PM – Final Challenge & Wrap-Up

  • Fun team challenge testing the bushcraft and survival skills learned over the weekend.

  • Group reflection on the experience and special father-child bonding moments.

1:00 PM – Departure

  • Hugs, high fives, and an invitation to return for future adventures.
